Will it really save me money?

Yes, and we can show you how. We look at your current usage, calculate your potential production, and factor in your new tariff options. Most of our clients see immediate monthly reductions in their bills, with thousands saved over the system's lifetime.

The payback takes too long.

I can understand where you are coming from. We did a survey not so long ago, just about a week ago about what people thought about solar and whether they knew much about it, and so on. One of the questions was to understand how long people thought the return on investment was. Some people said 20 years, some people said 15 years, and just crazy numbers.

We have had clients that made their money back in as little as 2 years, after accounting for government incentives, great savings and all of the benefits that solar power carries. Now, being completely honest, this varies a lot, depending on several factors, such as monthly energy bills, sun accessibility and shading, and more.

Would you be against just going through the numbers together, and see what solar energy could look like for you? Once it's paid off, you're essentially getting free power for decades.

I'm not here half of the year.

Yes so, I'd say half of the people that have installed with us, are actually in the same boat you are. Due to Brexit or just not being here full time, they are only here half of the year.

This is actually a great scenario, because in Spain, when you are not home, any energy that your solar panels produce but your home does not consume, will be sent back to the grid lines, whereby your energy supplier will compensate you for this energy.

This compensation will be a credit. Every unit of energy you send back to the grid, will be converted into a monetary credit. Amount will be subject to your contract with the energy supplier, however this is something we can also help with.

After 30 days of installing the solar system, and when you start to be compensated for the energy you send back, we can look for the best contract out there for you. This is for both buying energy at a better rate, and to be compensated a better rate too.

Usually this will mean changing energy providers, however, is a personal preference if you want to change or not. We simply provide you with a document, showcasing what the difference would look like financially, and you tell us yay or nay.

Solar panels don't work on cloudy days.

Completely understand where you're coming from. 10 years ago, if your solar system wasn't facing perfectly south, a sunny day and at a 30 degree angle, you weren't going to produce much at all.

Nowadays, we use mono crystalline solar panels, which still produce nicely in the winter months, cloudy days, and even if they are laid flat with no inclination. Of course, you won't be producing at peak output, but still some decent figures, to say the least.

My roof is not facing the right way.

That used to be a big issue years ago, 10 years ago, if your solar system wasn't facing percent south, a sunny day and at a 30 degree angle, you weren't going to produce much at all.

But today's panels perform well even on east or west-facing roofs, on a cloudy day too. We'll model your production based on your exact roof orientation so you can see the real numbers.

My roof is too old.

We'd definitely want to check the condition first. Before installing, we'd conduct a study on the roof stability and condition. If it needs replacing soon, it's best to do that before installing panels.

Just throwing this out there, but the good news is, if you are replacing it, we can coordinate so the solar system goes on the fresh roof.

If your concern is in relation to the tiles and whether working on the roof we could break them, any tiles we break or damages we cause to the roof, will be covered by us.

What about maintenance?

Next to none. It is a question we get a lot. If we do our job properly and everything is installed properly, the solar panels are there to stay for at least the next 25 years.

Now, if there are any faults in the system, these will always show within the first few months, this is why we also give a 2 year workmanship guarantee.

Too much paperwork.

We handle absolutely everything. In Spain we understand paperwork can be a pain, so we handle the entire process.

When it comes to registering the system with the town hall, legalising the system, licenses, permits, you name it, we take care of it.
